New Inmigrants Less than 90 days in NZ or less than a 90 day Bank Statement Period:
(1) = no student, holiday or working holiday visas
(2) = Copy of Employment Contract (full copy and must be signed by all parties) Please note a Letter Of Offer for Employment is NOT a contract.
(3) = Proof Of Address – if the client has opened a NZ bank account get a statement from them

New Immigrants – More than 90 days in NZ or Bank Statement Period:
(4) = New Immigrants – More than 90 days in NZ or Bank Statement Period
(5) = Full 90 day period of bank statements from date of application backwards. Must be in PDF format from internet banking or bank generated and stamped. Cannot accept screenshots or phone photos of statement pages.
(6) = Proof Of Address dated within last 90 days – any government department letter, IRD, phone or internet bill, power bill, bank statement, insurance document (not related to vehicle for the application).

Permanent Residents or NZ Citizens – Over 90 days in NZ or Bank Statement Period:
(7) = Copy of NZ Drivers Lic – MUST BE RESTRICETD OR FULL. CANNOT ACCEPT FULL LICENSE WITH CONDITION 1 – Driver must be accompanied at all times by another licensed driver
(8) = If the client has a limited credit history the finance company may ask for proof of residency within NZ.
(9) = If income or age is below certain thresholds (20yo and $ 650 per week as a general rule) then the finance companies may request additional co-borrowers.
